Importing Spreadsheets

Bulk upload entries from a CSV spreadsheet file to quickly create or populate a new Gravity Form. This function is limited to Administrator and Editor roles. This is an advanced function of Gravity Form. Seek the assistance of the site developer if you are not immediately successful.

Create and Export a Spreadsheet

Create a spreadsheet in Excel or Google Sheets. The first row of the spreadsheet should be the names of each of the destination form fields, one field per column. Export the spreadsheet as a CSV file.

Import or Export

Go to Forms > Import/Export to begin the process. Choose Import Entries to bring the spreadsheet data into a Gravity Form. Choose Export Entries to download data into a new CSV spreadsheet file. (This is useful if you would like to bulk-edit all of the entries of a particular form and then re-upload the data.)

Choose which column header goes with the corresponding Forms field. If you would like to skip import, leave this field blank.

Finish the import and confirm that field data has been imported correctly. If not, you will need to delete all entries from the Form Entries page for that form and start again.
